Janie is an Executive and Leadership coach, adviser and consultant to venture and private equity backed technology companies. She has spent her career building and managing high performing teams including at Google and Trainline during their hyper growth phases, as well as working for earlier stage growth companies. 

For the last 20 years, she has been coaching founders, CEOs and Executive leadership teams on how to harness their leadership skills every day.

She specialises in coaching leaders on how to increase their effectiveness and to perform at their best. Self awareness is the key to unlocking their blockers and allowing deliberate behaviour change to take effect. Coaching the whole person is a key philosophy, unearthing aspects of personal, career as well as professional development. 

Supporting leaders to overcome their challenges never ceases to enhance her love of coaching.

Janie’s approach to coaching leaders is pragmatic; identify the challenges, address self-awareness, encourage reflection and help the leader to find and own the right solutions. Based on her commercial knowledge, she constructively challenges leaders to help them make clearer and bolder decisions. She is supportive yet upfront in style so the learning is highlighted. Following every coaching session, the leader has next step actions, so they are clear on how to make a practical difference quickly.

Glaswegian born, she has lived in London throughout her career and on occasion, it has been known for her to coach her three children.
